A Studio Built by People Who Got Tired of Watching Good Brands Get Diluted
BrandingX is a branding and AI studio working out of Ahmedabad, London and New York. We do two things: we build brands for clients, and we research how the world's strongest brands were actually built. The second is why we are good at the first.
Established 2026. Remote first. Small on purpose.
Why We Started
Most of us spent the last decade inside bigger agencies or in house brand teams. The work was often good. The process around it usually was not. A senior team wins the pitch, then quietly hands the project to whoever is free. Strategy gets written, filed, and never referenced again once design begins. Six months later the client has a beautiful set of files and no clearer idea of what their brand actually stands for.
That gap between the thinking and the making is where brands get diluted. Not through bad taste, but through handoffs.
So BrandingX was set up to remove them. The people who take your first call are the people who do the work. Strategy and design happen in the same room rather than in sequence. And because we publish research on how the world's most durable brands were actually built, we tend to argue from evidence rather than from personal preference. That last part changes the tone of a client meeting more than you would expect.
We are not going to claim decades of history the studio does not have. What we will claim is that the hands doing the work have been doing it for a long time, and that the way we have chosen to structure the studio is a direct response to what we did not like about how it usually gets done.
Three Practices, One Team
They are separate disciplines on paper. In practice they keep solving each other's problems, which is the whole reason they sit under one roof.
The Brand Studio
Brand strategy, positioning, naming, logo and identity systems, packaging, website branding, rebranding and guidelines. Senior led from the first conversation to the final asset, with no rotation of people halfway through.
See branding servicesThe AI Practice
Custom AI development, generative AI consulting, AI avatar production and AI search visibility. Built by engineers, not by a marketing team with an API key, and always handed over with full ownership.
See AI servicesThe Editorial Desk
Independent, unsponsored research into how global brands were built, repositioned or lost their way. Nobody pays for coverage. It is where our strategists sharpen their arguments and where a lot of client thinking starts.

None of these are unusual. What is unusual is treating them as constraints rather than as marketing copy, which is why we accept fewer projects than we could.
If any of them stop being true, the studio has drifted and we would rather know.
- The people who pitch are the people who build. No bait and switch after the kickoff call.
- Strategy and design happen together. Not a document, then a separate creative phase that ignores it.
- We argue from evidence. Our editorial research exists so opinions can be checked against how real brands behaved.
- Pricing is agreed in writing before work starts. Milestone based, with no open meter and no scope surprises.
- You own everything. Files, source, models, prompts and documentation transfer on completion.
- We will tell you when the answer is no. Including when your problem is not a branding problem at all.
Four Commitments, Not Four Slogans
Every editorial, design and operational decision traces back to these. They are also the four things clients tell us are hardest to find elsewhere.
Independent by Default
Editorial coverage is never sponsored and never sold. We do not write about our own clients on the editorial side, because a review you paid for is an advertisement.
Written and Built From Scratch
No templates, no recycled identity systems, no filler content generated and shipped without a human deciding it was worth publishing.
Senior Hands Only
A small number of engagements each quarter, each led end to end by senior strategists, designers and engineers. Capacity is the constraint we accept.
Plain Language Throughout
Clear scopes, clear pricing, clear reasoning. If a recommendation cannot be explained to your finance director in two sentences, it is not ready.
"Brands shape how people think, how they shop and how they connect. That is too much influence to hand over to a template."

An honest account of a young studio, told without inflating it into something older than it is.
A Decade Inside Other People's Systems
The founding group worked across agencies and in house brand teams in India, the UK and the US. Different companies, same recurring frustration with how the work was structured.
BrandingX Is Established
The studio opens remote first across Ahmedabad, London and New York, with a deliberate cap on how many engagements run at once and a rule that senior people stay on the work.
The Editorial Desk Opens
Independent research into brand histories, strategies and repositionings begins publishing. Unsponsored from day one, and quickly the reason a lot of clients find us.
The AI Practice Launches
AI development, generative AI consulting, AI avatar production and AI search visibility join the studio as clients start asking how to keep a brand consistent at machine speed.
Twelve Industries and Counting
Engagements across fintech, healthcare, SaaS, ecommerce, legal, real estate, manufacturing and more, with clients from North America and Europe through to Asia Pacific.
Three Cities, One Working Day
Remote first was a decision, not a compromise. It means someone is awake and available for almost every client we take on.
Ahmedabad
India Standard TimeOur engineering and production base. Most AI development, avatar production and build work runs from here, overlapping the European morning.
London
Greenwich Mean TimeStrategy and editorial. The bridge between our Asia Pacific and North American clients, and where most brand positioning work is led.
New York
Eastern TimeClient partnership for the Americas. Sprint reviews, stakeholder sessions and launch support on US business hours.
The Engagements That Go Well
We are a better fit for some situations than others, and saying so upfront saves everyone a wasted call.
This Usually Works
Founders who can articulate what they are actually trying to change. Companies that have outgrown an identity built in a hurry. Teams entering a market where they will be compared directly against sharper competitors. Businesses that already publish something worth reading and want it to work harder. Anyone who wants to be argued with rather than agreed with.
This Usually Does Not
Projects where a logo is expected to fix a product problem. Engagements with six approvers and no decision maker. Timelines that require skipping the thinking. Requests to copy a competitor's look. Anyone who wants us to publish favourable editorial coverage, which is not something we sell at any price.
